Whether Agile, Lean, OPEX, QMS ... all improvement philosophies and tools have one thing in common: they are carried out by people and face resistance in their beginnings.
Fear of the unknown
We are all sceptical about what is not known, and prefer to stick to the usual procedures: "that's the way we've always done it, and it works!"
Some may even be afraid: "will I be made redundant?"
Sure, resistance is not just blown away because of Corona!
But just as clear is:
NOW more than ever we are all ready for change.
Within a few months, we had to do so many things differently in the company as well: Home office, manage remotely, video meetings... And for most of us, it worked much better than we could have ever imagined.
As a result, our inner resistance has fallen to a particularly low level.
Time
Everyone who wants to organise lean events or QMS training knows this: "No one has time for that". Production must be running, goods purchased, products delivered, invoices written, etc...
NOW, however, we have, even if not by choice, more time
Let's make the best of it and use the free capacities for business improvements.

- describe your procedures to prepare afuture accreditation
- carry internal audits
- ...
Call out the creativity in your company, use the current time to implement exactly what you normally only ever set out to do.
